Client lookup from Jira
During Section 0 (Client Lookup), the tool searches your Jira Service Management instance in parallel with other sources. Results from Jira appear as cards with a purple Jira badge.Search by email
Type the client’s email address to find the matching Jira customer account. The tool returns the customer’s display name, email, and the organizations they belong to in JSM.Search by organization name
Type a company name to search all JSM organizations. The tool applies smart scoring to filter out false positives — for example, searching “ZTEK TECH PTE. LTD.” returns only organizations where the meaningful words match, not every organization that contains common suffixes like “Pte.” or “Ltd.” Each Jira result card shows:- Organization name
- Member list — the names and email addresses of members in that organization
Jira Sync — what gets created after acceptance
After a quote is accepted, you can sync the client to Jira Service Management. This creates the following records automatically:| Record | Details |
|---|---|
| Organization | Named using the format: [Market] ServiceType - Salutation Name - DD/MM/YYYY |
| Customer account | Created using the client’s email address, or reused if the email already exists in JSM |
| Organization membership | The customer is added to the new organization |
| Client ID custom field | The client’s Data Warehouse Client ID is set on the organization |
| Service Desk membership | The organization is added to your Service Desk |
